My name is Agnes and I’m a quintessential New York lover. Curiosity has helped me garnish an in-depth love for the not-so-obvious structures and places that give this city its character. My blog is mainly a mini architectural history of New York City. Famed buildings and hidden corners of the city uncovered, plus a few restaurant reviews and shops of interest highlighted. I see my blog as a work in progress and welcome critiques, advice, and suggestions. Some of my writing has been published in Romantic Homes magazine as well as http://www.untappedcities.com.  I can be reached at Agnesbstanton@gmail.com

  1. Just want you to know that I stumbled upon your blog and think it’s great. You have a poet’s feel for the City and its history, and are really good with a camera. NYC is special, and you bring it to life. Thanks very much for creating this and keeping it going. I have forwarded your link to my wife and two kids, one of whom lives in New York.

  2. I agree with George. I stumbled too unpon your site and found myself really interested. I will be visiting NYC again in September 2013 and am now looking forward to seeing several of the places you have highlighted but with a different set of eyes. 🙂 I’m curious too, what type of camera do you use to take such beautiful photos? Really nice job on your site!

    • Glad to hear that my blog has perhaps kindled a deeper interest in NYC for you. I use an old Canon EOS, nothing too special. New York City is what’s special. Enjoy your September trip, a great time to be in New York!
